Cafe Restaurant Hornle in Konstanz

Far too expensive prices for the quality of the dishes! Mainly too salty ready-made sauces and canned vegetables hardly any fresh ingredients used - a shame. Service friendly therefore a star.

Service very bad from a lady with short hair and glasses. I didn't ask for her name, unfortunately this place is not recommended.

The staff remain friendly even in times of stress and the rosemary potatoes are very tasty. Unfortunately, the pieces of cake get smaller and smaller over time 😐

Beautifully situated right on the lake, lovingly designed tables, simple and so that you can just feel good. The kiosk offers drinks as well as cakes and niceties from the kitchen. I like it here. You sit very nicely on the large terrace overlooking the lake and the prices are also ok. The dishes are nothing special but quite good! After the restaurant switched to self-service some time ago, I was skeptical at first if that worked well, but it is well organized and works fine 😀

Very friendly staff, very good kitchen. The portions are big and very good. The view from the terrace over Lake Constance to Switzerland is great. From the price the restaurant is also suitable for small purse.

Self service restaurant, no wifi. Some staff were rude but when asked to move inside as it was too windy outside was moved after a long discussion between the staff and what seemed to be the owner of the place.

Here you can comfortably enjoy your breakfast every Sunday. There is a really big buffet. Maybe a coffee or even a glass of sparkling wine. With a view of Lake Constance, you enjoy both. I was here with a friend from Freiburg and then enjoyed the day on the beach. Perfect start to the day. A little tip: a little more fresh vegetables would be great.

The Hörnle restaurant is located at the famous seaside resort on the lake in Constance. During my visit today I ate a delicious banana split and enjoyed the beautiful view. The service staff were unfortunately a little overwhelmed today (long waiting times, ...).

A nice place, with great view on the lake. Great location! Dishes have improved since last year, that's a big plus. Service always tries to please clients!

My review is for the kiosk outside of the restaurant. During the weekend the queue to be served is just huge. They need more personal and a complete redesign of the serving system. The fact that they have a waiting line for the food and another for the drinks is just stupid. After starting 15 minutes waiting in the line for food (and they don't have SCHNITZEL!!!) I had no single wish to do another line for my beer. Unfortunately is the only olive where you can buy something there. The different of food is minimal, French fries, red sausage (rote), but no Schnitzel, no White sausage, no nackensteak. My advice take some food and drinks with you from home.

Nice cafe for sitting on the terrace and enjoying a hot day by the lake.
